Hello, hello! I’m Emily Hallahan, LPC, NCC, CCTP
(She/Her)
You don’t have to figure it all out on your own.
The women I work with are often thoughtful, capable, and deeply caring. They’re used to being the one others turn to, whether that means solving problems, keeping the peace, or making sure everyone else is okay. Even when life looks manageable from the outside, they may be exhausted from constantly carrying the mental load, disconnected from their own needs, or wondering when they get to come first.
If you see yourself in this, you’re in the right place.

I bring over five years of clinical experience in mental health counseling across a variety of settings and levels of care. My experience includes working as a therapist in a domestic violence shelter, community outpatient facility, crisis services, home based therapy, and now private practice. These experiences have given me the opportunity to support women through a wide range of challenges and life experiences.

I want therapy to feel like a space where you can take a breath, let your guard down, and be honest about what’s really going on. I’ll meet you with warmth, empathy, and curiosity, while also offering honest feedback and challenging you when it feels helpful.
I believe you know yourself and your life better than anyone, so we’ll work together rather than me telling you what you “should” do. I’m also not a “blank slate” therapist. I bring my own perspective, experience, and personality into the room, and I believe the relationship we build is an important part of the work.
We’ll get curious about your patterns, relationships, experiences, and the beliefs you’ve picked up along the way. My approach draws from person centered, psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, motivational interviewing, feminist, and trauma informed therapies. I use these perspectives to help you better understand yourself, recognize the patterns shaping your life, build self trust, and feel empowered to make choices that align with who you are and what you want.
And because you’re human, not a case study, there’s always room for humor along the way!
Prioritize Yourself.
